Radiant Circuits

In the context of ancient Chinese medicine, "radiant circuits" typically refer to the meridian pathways that are used to circulate and balance the flow of energy, or Qi, throughout the body.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the body contains a network of energy channels, or meridians, through which the Qi flows. There are twelve primary meridians, each associated with a specific organ system, as well as eight extraordinary meridians, also known as the "radiant circuits." These extraordinary meridians are not directly linked to any particular organ system, but are believed to be able to affect multiple systems and help regulate the flow of Qi in the body.

The eight extraordinary meridians include the Du Mai, the Ren Mai, the Chong Mai, the Dai Mai, the Yangqiao Mai, the Yinqiao Mai, the Yangwei Mai, and the Yinwei Mai. These meridians are often used in acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine practices to help promote balance and harmony in the body, and to address a wide range of health issues.
